Oregon Bus Crash: B.C. Survivors To Return Home

Some of the survivors of that deadly bus crash in Oregon hope to resume their travels back to B.C. this morning.

The passports of all of the passengers have been retrieved from the wreckage of the Metro Vancouver-based tour bus that plunged down an embankment near the city of Pendleton on Sunday.

But a Red Cross spokeswoman says the survivors are unwilling to board another bus to continue their journey, so an Oregon car dealership is providing SUVs and qualified drivers to get the victims home.

Nine people died and 14 of the more than three dozen injured remain in hospital as officials in Oregon continue to investigate a cause of the crash.
