Kim Kardashian added heat to the annual Iced party at Cowboys in Calgary on Friday, when the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star hosted the 17th annual Iced event.

Fans waited patiently for the Kardashian to make an appearance, including Lily Jones who was a "super fan," the Calgary Sun reported. "She's my idol," Jones said.

“A lot of our clientele are really big fans of Kim and her show," said Scarlett Lee, vice president of Penny Lane Entertainment, the company that owns Cowboys, to the Calgary Herald.

Around 50 media outlets were accredited for the event including TMZ.com and In Style, the Calgary Herald added.

While for some Calgarians the heat was positive, others weren't exactly thrilled about the star's visit.

"Why anyone is excited that Kim Kardashian is in Calgary is just sad," said user liamtomney on Twitter.

Others were feeling protective of the baby on the way:

The reality star, who recently announced that she was pregnant, went all out when she graced the red carpet in a sheer top and pencil skirt.

Regular tickets for the event cost $49.99, Meet and Greet tickets were $299.00 and included a photo with Kardashian and her biggest fans could purchase a table for 10 at $1,999.99, which included bottle service.

Cowboys has hosted many celebrity appearances in the past. Prince Harry got caught in a media firestorm after smooching a waitress at the club, and celebrities such as Brad Pitt and Snoop Dogg have stopped by for a visit.
