Ron James On The Warmth Of Home And The Canadian Condo Boom

Ron James On Home And The Condo Boom

There's no place like home, indeed.

While Canadian comedian Ron James may reside in one of Toronto's downtown condo buildings, he certainly isn't a big fan of the ridiculous names being given to some of the new towers.

In the upcoming episode of "The Ron James Show," he insists that a home is a warm, comforting place, not a designer art-deco gallery like some of the buildings' advertisements would suggest.

"Le Chaise, Luminaire, Magicka," he quips. "A home is a place you're supposed to be connected to."

Tsk, tsk, Ron, don't throw stones at glass houses ... oh wait, you live in a condo too. Never mind! This is some funny stuff.

Catch the full episode Monday night at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBC.
