Hundreds of commuters braved the cold Sunday for Vancouver's fourth annual "No Pants Skytrain Ride" which gives a whole new meaning to "flash mob."
The event, organized by comedy group Vancouver Improv Anywhere, began at the Commercial-Broadway Skytrain station at 1 p.m., the Vancouver Sun reported.

Participants entered a train wearing pants, then stripped them off as soon as the doors closed, 24 Hours Vancouver reported.
The event originated with New York prank group, Improv Everywhere, which specializes in events that "cause scenes," according to the company's website.
Larry Piche with Vancouver Improv Anywhere told Global TV that Translink security was behind the event "100 per cent" and that people just do it for fun.
