New Brunswick nurses reach tentative contract deal

FREDERICTON - The New Brunswick government has reached a tentative contract deal with the province's 6,000 nurses.

However, details of the collective agreement won't be released until the agreement has been ratified by the union's membership.

The New Brunswick Nurses' Union says those covered by the tentative deal includes nursing working in hospitals, community health clinics and the extra-mural program.

The nurses' contract expired at the end of 2010.
