Lance Armstrong Oprah Video: Cyclist On Telling His Son He Doped (VIDEO)

WATCH: Lance On Telling His Son The Truth

In the second part of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong's interview with Oprah Winfrey, he talked about coming out about doping to his family.

In particular, Armstrong appeared emotional and on the verge of tears when describing telling his son the truth.

"I saw my son defending me and saying, 'That's not true. What you're saying about my dad is not true,'" Armstrong recalled.

"That's when I knew I had to tell him.''

In the first half of the pre-taped interview airing on Oprah.com, Armstrong candidly admitted to using a variety of doping methods throughout his career and during his seven Tour de France wins. Critics said that Armstrong didn't express enough regret for his actions during Thursday night's airing, but perhaps Friday's emotional discussion will change some minds.
