Michael Buble, Baby: Crooner And Wife Luisana Lopilato Announce They're Pregnant

Michael Bublé And Model Wife Expecting First Baby

Michael Bublé is adding daddy to his resumé of Canadian crooner, Christmas-lover and minor-league hockey team owner.

In an adorable YouTube clip posted Thursday, January 24, the 37-year-old Vancouver singer and Luisana Lopilato, his 25-year-old Argentinian superstar wife, broke the good news to their fans in both English and Spanish (We're having a baby Bublé!!! Vamos a tener un bebito Bublé!!!).

The video also included an image of an ultrasound labeled "Mini Bublé" and audio of little kids yelling "yay!" over a jaunty jazz-pop instrumental.

Naturally, it ends with a soundbite of Bublé singing "I just haven't met you yet."

Presumably Bublé's pretty excited at the prospect of a mini-Bublé running around the house. Back in late 2011 he told AOL Music Blog he really wanted to have children.

"Oh, I love kids," Bublé said. "I'm at the maturity level of 13 [but] I just like kids. I had a good childhood. My parents loved us a lot and they were really good with us, they made growing up a whole lot of fun. And being a kid was very safe, you grew up slowly. I guess I want to recreate that. I love kids, I'd love to have kids. There's that half of me that thinks I'm never going to be ready for it and that maybe I'm too selfish for it, and there's that half that can't wait to go to Disneyland and watch them see Mickey for the first time. Christmas will be even better — and Christmas is already pretty awesome."

The one thing Bublé fans might not be happy about is the amount of touring he'll be doing when he becomes a new dad. Bublé doesn't want to be an absent father.

"My wife and I were talking about it the other day, and she said, 'I want to continue to work.' And I said, 'Lu, when you have kids, you're going to change your mind.' And she said, 'No, I'm not, I want to work.' Well, I don't want to work. Not like that. If I have kids, I don't want to be an absentee dad that's gone out touring, saying 'I needed to go out and make the money for the family.' My priority will have to be the kids.

"It's hard, man. Listen, it would be perfect if I could take my wife and kid with me on tour, but the problem is she loves to work, too. So there's going to be some serious battles over time and who can work when."

Noted. If there's a Michael Bublé concert coming to your town soon, make sure you go see it. There's no telling when he'll tour next.
