Best Travel Photos Of The Week: Canadians Feast On Food Around The World

The Best Travel Photos Of The Week

If this week's travel photo round-up is an indication of anything, it's that travel and food go hand in hand.

After all, what better way to experience a country's culture than with your own taste buds? But for those expecting another rendition of Instagram photos of your friend's last-night dinner, fear not. There will be no filters here. That is unless you're talking about the coffee filters that are needed to make a silky cup of Vietnamese egg coffee, one of Jodi Ettenberg's memorable beverages from her trip to the city of Hanoi.

Closer to home, another Asian dish with a Canadian twist makes its way into this week's travel photo-round up, courtesy of Pamela MacNaughtan and her trip to a Korean-Japanese fusion bar in Toronto. As MacNaughtan writes, Canada has "its classics like maple syrup, poutine and Montreal smoked meat", but it's also a nation that's home to a multitude of international fare, allowing travellers to sample the world without even leaving the country.

MacNaughtan's got a point but rather than elaborate, let's have the photos do the rest of the talking.
