UBC Video Of Eskimo Kiss Cam Spreads Valentine's Love

WATCH: Eskimo Kiss Cam Spreads Valentine's Love

Students at the University of British Columbia Sweet showed their sweet, spontaneous sides for an "Eskimo Kiss Cam" video, which asks passersby to take a moment to rub noses with a stranger.

Vancouver actor Andy Man Yu came up with the luvvy-duvvy "Eskimo Kiss Cam" in his first-ever YouTube video.

He and co-host Raquel Carrion ask random people at the UBC's Student Union Building to stop and share an Eskimo kiss.

Yu was inspired by the Mistletoe Prank video, where students at Brigham Young University hung mistletoe in a cafeteria to get people to kiss each other. One of the actors in that video actually got slapped but Yu's take is a tad lighter.

"I told myself three weeks ago I wanted to make a video that gives just as much, if not more, of the warm feeling that watching them kiss under the mistletoe gave me," Yu wrote in the video's description.

Most participants see the fun in the Eskimo kiss — Yu gets a real kiss from one of them. One does refuse, but in a very polite, Canadian way.
