The Vancouver Canucks are celebrating Valentine's Day in sweet-but-groan-worthy style with lovey-dovey cards featuring the players.
The cards originate in a CanucksTV video where reporter Kathy Anderson reveals a series of Valentine's Day cards she made that superimpose the players' faces onto various characters and objects.

One card shows right-winger Alex Burrows combined with Simba from "The Lion King" with the message: "Burr Thinks You're Cute. He Ain't Lyin'!"
Another card shows fourth-line centre Manny Malhotra pasted on to a Viking's body with the words, "Manny's Taken A Viking To You!"
The cards were posted on the team-affiliated Fort Nucks blog as a Valentine's Day gift to readers.
