Abbotsford Police

Police in Abbotsford, B.C. are asking the public to help solve an apparent hit and run that killed Shaminderjeet Kaur Brar.

Brar, 34, was reported missing on Feb. 12 and was found six days later on the side of Riverside Road. Police said Wednesday that there were significant injuries to her rear torso area, consistent with being struck by a vehicle.

Investigators say they've determined she was last seen on Saturday night but are looking for witnesses to help them figure out what she was doing between then and the time her body was found on Monday morning.

On Thursday, police released an image of a pink hoodle similar to what Brar was wearing. She was also wearing blue jeans and white runners.
