Police are looking for three men who discharged bear spray and robbed the Apple store in Vancouver's Oakridge mall on Monday evening.
The robbery happened just before 7 p.m. when about 40 customers were in the store, said Vancouver police in a news release. Paramedics treated five people at the scene for exposure to bear spray.
The suspects stole a "small number of electronics" before running out of the mall, said police.
A police dog unit searched the area and recovered some of the stolen items but the men remain at large.
In January, two men robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint in downtown Vancouver's Pacific Centre Mall then fled in a cloud of bear spray. No one was hurt but two mall customers were treated for exposure to the spray.
