Missing Surrey Woman Found
Handout

UPDATE - March 7, 2013: Navjot Kaur Kahlon was located Wednesday. The RCMP say she is safe and sound.

B.C. RCMP are seeking the public's help to find a Surrey woman who went missing at the Vancouver International Airport.

Navjot Kaur Kahlon, 27, of Surrey was last seen at the airport on Feb. 26 by her family as they were waiting to board an international flight.

Somehow she became separated inside the airport and never rejoined her relatives as they boarded the plane, according to Vancouver Desi.

"Kahlon's family believed that she would be joining them in India but she never did," said Cpl. Sherrdean Turley in a Tuesday news release.

Kahlon is five feet five inches tall and described as having a quiet, private demeanour. Her job and the name of her employer remains unknown, said RCMP.

She was last seen wearing a white or ivory coloured jacket, long blue scarf, black skirt, grey tights and black heels.

Anyone with information about Kahlon or her whereabouts is asked to contact Richmond RCMP at (604) 278-1212 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
