SAINT JOHN, N.B. - There's been a delay in the case against a former Saint John city councillor facing a charge of making child porn.
Donnie Snook was due in court today for election and plea on eight child exploitation charges including one count of manufacturing child pornography.
A judge granted an adjournment until May 29 with the Crown saying more charges are possible against the 41-year-old as the investigation continues.
Snook, who did not attend today's proceeding, will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
The former councillor would normally have appeared by video conference but the technology was not available due to the move to a new court.
