Caution: This may not be suitable for viewers with queasy stomachs — and needless to say, do not try this at home.

Japan's famous burger eating machine, Mr. Sato, methodically inhales a gigantic burger with 100 slices of slimy grilled onions, dubbed The Onion Tower Challenge.

You might remember Sato from similar stunts involving the 1,000 cheese slice whopper and the 1,050 bacon strip burger, as featured on Japanese news site Rocket News 24. It doesn't seem like Sato is a fan of keeping his toppings minimal.

The Burger King ploy was used to promote its "Bakuoni" onion burger (this one has only five slices of grilled onions covered in teriyaki sauce) which adds up to 935 calories, versus Sato's burger, which amounted to a whopping 2,692.5 calories.

"But when it’s mostly vegetables, it’s all perfectly healthy, right!?" said Rocket News. We're not so sure about that.

Even for an eating champ like Sato, the challenge wasn't easy. Part-way through the stunt, he tires of the cold onion slices and mixes things up by making a stew with the remaining onions and meat. Pretty resourceful!
