Abbotsford Road Rage Case Includes Laser, Spit

B.C. RCMP are trying to track down two people in an alarming road rage incident in the Fraser Valley.

A woman was driving westbound on Highway 1 at No. 3 Road last month when a grey Audi passed her in the right lane. The female Audi driver and her male passenger both gave her the finger as they passed and flashed the car's high beams several times, said RCMP in a Tuesday news release.

With the Audi in front of the victim's vehicle, the man stood up, with his head through the sunroof, and spit on the victim's windshield.

He then sat back down and pointed a green laser through the Audi's rear window at the victim's eyes, "causing her not to be able to see her surroundings," said police. She may have sustained eye damage.

The Audi, which had a B.C. licence plate, sped off around Clearbrook Road in Abbotsford. The incident happened on Feb. 27 at around 4 p.m.

Both suspects are in their 20s. The female Audi driver had dark brown hair, while the man had a large build, and fair hair shaved on the sides, according to police.
