Brassart with four points as the Hitmen down the Ice

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Brady Brassart had two goals and two assists as the Calgary Hitmen downed the host Kootenay Ice 5-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

Cody Sylvester also scored twice and pushed his goal streak to six games, all of which have been victories for the Hitmen (46-20-5).

Calder Brooks scored once to round out Calgary's offence.

Luke Philp, Austin Vetterl and Sam Reinhart scored for the Ice (34-35-2) and Joey Leach had two assists.

Chris Driedger made 28 saves for the win as Mackenzie Skapski stopped 30 shots in defeat.

Calgary went 2 for 3 on the power play while Kootenay scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
