A woman is reportedly this year's 11th murder victim in Surrey, B.C.

The victim was stabbed to death in an apartment complex near 130th Street and 103A Avenue on Monday, reported Global News.

Police responded to an apparent domestic fight, according CBC News.

The victim's name and cause of death have not been released. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking over the case.

Murders have piled up in Surrey in recent weeks. On Wednesday, the bodies of Nicole Brochu and Brett Lietz were found in a rural area near Colebrook Road and 125A Street.

Two other bodies had been discovered in the same area in the two months before that.

On Monday, Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts announced cameras and lights may be installed as early as next week on Colebrook Road as a way to curtail crime in the isolated area.

UPDATE - March 19, 2013: The victim has been identified as Jackie Olson, 43. A family member has been arrested, said the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
