Nut, tahini and sugar products recalled over risks of salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued warnings about several nut and sugar products sold primarily in Quebec and Ontario.

Some types of peanut, almond, cashew and sesame butters are affected by the recall along with tahini and sugar products. All of the products are sold under three brands — Tout Naturel, Yum Nature and Soeurs en Vrac.

A few bulk products are also being recalled by Vicrossano Inc. .

No illnesses have been linked to the warnings so far.

The agency says consuming the affected products could "result in a wide range of symptoms."
