Kate Middleton's Baby Shower Plans: Will Pippa Throw A 'Do For Duchess Of Cambridge? (VIDEO)

Will She Or Won't She?

What should Kate Middleton expect when she’s expecting? Some might say a baby shower, while others disagree.

The Duchess Of Cambridge reportedly has plans to attend a celebration thrown by her sister Pippa, according to Hollywood Life. She even hopes the Queen will attend, a source says.

But not everyone expects a royal shindig. Not only would a royal shower depart from British and royal norms, there are other reasons Will and Kate may abstain.

It’s more likely Kate will shop for baby necessities at British stores, she adds. Kate has recently been spotted shopping for maternity clothes at TopShop, and Peter Jones in London, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see her pop into the shops ahead of her due date.

She and Prince William might also accept gifts from friends and family who come to meet the baby after his or her birth, as is British custom, Arbiter says.

Just as with the much-anticipated (and still unknown) gender of the baby, the world will just have to wait and see.
