Wheat and corn futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices fall

CHICAGO - Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 0.50 cent to $6.9450 a bushel; May corn rose 1 cent to $6.31 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.59 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 13 cents to $13.59 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.40 cent to $1.2195 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.45 cent to $1.455 a pound; June lean hogs fell 1.32 cent to 90.7 cents a pound.
