It's back! After a brief hiatus, HuffPost Canada Travel's weekly round-up of travel photos has returned and it's brought back some great photography home too. This week's theme can be summed up with one word: walls. Yes, walls may not sound terribly exciting to look at but let's not forget that some of the world's finest wonders are walls.
But the beauty behind these photos isn't so much about the actual walls; it's in the stories embedded within the bricks and mortar. Take Pamela MacNaughtan's trip to Guadalajara, Mexico, where she found out that her wandering ways just weren't suited for the city's packed streets. But hey, at least she managed to snap a few shots of the graffiti-lined walls in the process. Then there's the lesson Dalene and Peter Heck learned during their trip to the central memorial in Germany's capital, about the unseen barriers Berliners still face even after the Berlin Wall was torn down.
