Beside John F. Kennedy, Barack Obama and Pierre Elliott Trudeau stood (and stands) Jackie O., Michelle and Margaret.

Now, with Justin Trudeau having been named the new leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, his wife, Sophie Grégoire, has entered the spotlight as the next fashionable "First Lady" of Canada.

True, the Trudeaus aren't living at 24 Sussex Drive, but we can safely say that they outrank Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife, Laureen Harper, on the style scale. (Just look at Justin's amazing hair!)

Grégoire, who turns 38 on April 24, has fashion in her blood. The mother of a boy, Xavier, and a girl, Ella-Grace, was a reporter, former model and a personal shopper for the high-end Canadian department store Holt Renfrew.

Sophie even helped design her own wedding dress when she married Trudeau in 2005.

She's not your typical politician's wife either; Sophie is a qualified yoga teacher (can you imagine Michelle Obama doing downward dog in her Jason Wu gown?) and isn't afraid of looking silly with her husband.

So what kind of clothes will Sophie wear to political functions and rallies? Will she exclusively support Canadian designers such as Pink Tartan and Erdem? Will she shop with the masses at Joe Fresh? Or will Sophie look to our international neighbours and shop at Oscar de la Renta, Prada and Pucci?

We take a look back at Sophie's sartorial choices to get some clues.

Victory Is Theirs!
