Avril Lavigne's style has come a long way since her "S8er Boi" days, but there's one thing the Canadian singer refuses to give up: her heavy black eye makeup.
The 28-year-old pop-star performed at the legendary Viper Room in Los Angeles for a secret gig presented by Talent Resources on Thursday sporting a decidedly sexier rocker look, which included very long blonde hair extensions, a black leather mini-skirt, and of course, her trademark "racoon" eyes -- applied this time with an even heavier hand than usual.
Posing for pre-gig photos in towering, leopard print pumps and a matching biker jacket, there was one accessory that didn't quite seem to match her punk outfit -- her sparkly, massive diamond engagement ring, given to her by fiancé and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger (who was also in attendance in support of his wife-to-be).
The Viper Room gig showcased new material from the singer who released her latest single, "Here's to Never Growing Up," on April 9.
