OTTAWA - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with allergies to milk to steer clear of certain Hevy D's Old Fashioned Kettle Korn products.
The C-FIA says Hevy D's Caramel Flavour Gourmet Popcorn contains milk which isn't declared on the label.
It was sold in 190 gram packages (UPC 6 28396 00100 7) with a best before date of Sept. 30 2013.
The kettle korn, which was distributed in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba and Saskatchewan, poses a serious -- even life-threatening -- health risk to people with milk allergies.
It's been recalled, and to date, has not been linked to any illnesses.
