Top Republicans, including Sarah Palin and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, will address the annual meeting of the National Rifle Association as the three-day "Stand and Fight"-themed convention opens in Houston.

Other speakers scheduled to speak at the power gun lobby's annual meeting on Friday include presidential candidate Rick Santorum and Senator Ted Cruz, a Republican from Texas who has become one of the Tea Party's top voices.
