Dellen Millard's Alleged Involvement In Tim Bosma Disappearance Makes 'No Sense': Lawyer

Suspect's Alleged Involvement In Bosma Case Makes 'No Sense': Lawyer

Dellen Millard, arrested in connection with missing Ontario man Tim Bosma, is a “polite, reserved and humble guy,” his lawyer told the Toronto Star, and it makes “no sense” why he would be involved in the disappearance.

Bosma, a 32-year-old father and husband, went missing last Monday evening. He was last seen leaving his Ancaster, Ont., home to take two men for a test drive in his truck, a black 2007 Dodge Ram pickup.

He had used Kijiji and Auto Trader to try to sell it, according to CTV.

Police announced Saturday that Millard, a 27-year-old man from Toronto, was arrested while driving on Cawthra Road in Mississauga without incident. He has been charged with forcible confinement and theft over $5,000.

The second suspect, who police have not identified, has been described as a white male with dark hair, 5’9” to 5’10” tall, small to medium build, in his early to mid 20’s. Millard's lawyer says he "remained silent" when asked if he gave police information about the person.

As police continue their investigation, more details about Millard have surfaced.

He comes from what some media reports have called a “flying dynasty.”

His former flying teacher described him as “sweet, smart, really lovely to teach.”

More recently, he seems to have developed an interest in cars and off-road racing.

Police have searched Millard’s Toronto home, CTV said, and plan to search a hangar owned by the Millards’ company at the Region of Waterloo International Airport.

Anyone with information about Bosma’s whereabouts is encouraged to call a tip line at 905-546-2100.
