They might be mocked by the rest of Canada but there's no questioning the unbridled passion of Toronto Maple Leafs fans. Fans of the team have turned huge parts of downtown Toronto into a sea of blue and white during this series against the Boston Bruins.
Who can blame them. After falling behind 3-1 in the series, the Leafs have clawed their way back and forced a decisive Game 7 on Monday night. The love for the Leafs was on full display on Sunday when the team beat the Bruins at home 2-1. Thousands were outside the Air Canada Centre despite the unseasonably chilly May weather and many more took to Twitter to show their passion.

On the Leafs' Facebook page fans shared a photo of goalie Reimer with the message "Leafs Force Game 7" was shared an astounding 14,000 times. While a "In Reimer We Trust" photo also got the fans clicking with almost 5,000 shares.
Sunday's game was memorable in a few ways. It was the first Leafs playoff home win against the Bruins in more than five decades and the first playoff home win for the Leafs in nine years.
According to the NHL teams have only come back to win a 3-1 deficit 20 times. One of those teams? The 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs, who surged back from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Red Wings for the Stanley Cup.
