Home prices increased by 1.3 per cent versus a year ago in Canada, bringing the average price to approximately $380,600, according to a new report by TD Economics.
Home sales also improved in some cities including Calgary and rose by 0.6 per cent in April compared to the previous month. However, on a year-over-year basis sales were down by 3.1 per cent.
