Drake could conceivably be both a simultaneous winner and loser at this year's BET Awards. After all, he's nominated 12 times in various categories and five times for video of the year.

The official site for the awards show has the Canadian hip-hop artist nominated for his own songs "Started From The Bottom" and "Hyfr" (featuring Lil Wayne) in the video category along with his collaborations with 2 Chainz for "No Lie" and A$AP Rocky for "Problems." He's also included in Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice."

He's also nominated for those guest spots in the Best Collaborations category with 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky.

Drake will battle 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and Future for Best Male Hip Hop Artist and is also nominated in the Viewer's Choice Award category. And yes Drake is also nominated for the Best Male Look/Award Winning Look, which is voted on by fans.

Other top nominees include Lamar and 2 Chainz with eight nominations each.

Not to be forgotten, fellow Canadian act The Weeknd is up for Best New Artist opposite Azelia Banks, Joey Bada$$, Lamar and Trinidad Jame$.

The show, hosted by Chris Tucker, will take place June 30 from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Chris Brown, R. Kelly and Charlie Wilson are the confirmed performers so far.
