A young girl doing 187 km/h down the QE2 Highway on the holiday Monday couldn't produce a driver's license because she's too young to have one.
And to make matters worse for the the 15-year-old Red Deer teen, the car she was charging down the main link between Calgary and Edmonton in was not insured and had no proof of registration.
Alberta Sheriffs and RCMP closed in on the south-bound black Nissan Altima near Crossfield, said Sheriff Jason Graw, with the Airdrie Integrated Traffic Unit.
The posted speed limit there is 110km/h.

"When the vehicle stopped for officers, the 15-year old female driver attempted to switch seating positions with the front seat passenger in order to hide the fact that she did not have a drivers license," he said.
The teen, who cannot be named due to her age, is now charged with speeding at 77 km/h over the posted speed limit, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle without having a subsisting operator's license and failing to provide valid proof of vehicle registration.
She is scheduled to appear in Airdrie Provincial Court on July 2.
