Rain, snowfall warnings issued for B.C.'s southern Interior

A low pressure system stuck over B.C. will bring heavy rain in the southern Interior, snow on the mountain passes, and cooler temperatures over the next two days, according to CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

Rainfall warnings are in place for Fraser Canyon as well as the Kootenays, and a special weather statement is in place for winter mountain pass driving.

But on the South Coast, once the showers clear out Thursday afternoon, the region may get some sunny breaks and higher temperatures on Thursday and Friday, before the showers return on the weekend.
