When Sudarshan Gautam said "disability is not inability," he really meant it.
The Calgarian man who lost both his arms in a kite-flying accident at the age of 14, reached the top of Mount Everest on Monday.
He is the first person missing both arms to summit the mountain without the use of prosthetics.
"This is due to the inspiration of you all the supporters," Gautam said on his Facebook page.

He said he was proud to have set foot on the top of Everest and happy he succeeded to fulfilling his personal dream.
Comments poured in congratulating Gautam, some saying he proved that nothing was impossible.
The Nepal-born climber has reached the peaks of many mountains before, including Mount Ramdung at 5,925 metres and Mount Yala at 5,732 metres.
He can also drive a manual car, has worked as a social worker and has visited more than 36 countries.
