Man dies after industrial accident in Mississauga

An industrial accident has claimed a 33-year-old man's life in Mississauga, Ont., Peel Regional Police say.

Police say the incident happened on Orlando Drive, when a man was unloading equipment off a tractor trailer on Sunday afternoon.

The equipment shifted unexpectedly and the man became trapped against a wall.

The man was taken to hospital where he later died.

The incident is now under investigation by Ontario's Ministry of Labour.

It was the second industrial accident in Peel Region this weekend.

On Saturday, a man was seriously injured when a piece of machinery fell on him at a construction site on James Potter Road in Brampton, Ont.
