We barely recognized "The Hangover 3" star Zach Galifianakis when he walked the red carpet without one important accessory: His beard!
The 43-year-old shaved off his shaggy friend in favour of a trimmed goatee and mustache which he proudly (defiantly?) displayed at the "The Hangover 3's" French premiere on Monday.

Was this a practical joke played by the Wolfpack? Is Zach trying to go back to his earlier years when he didn't have any facial hair?
Whatever the reason, we have to admit that we like Zach's new Ron Swanson look but we're going to miss his old, unruly 'do.
