More rain for Metro Vancouver, but sun should return for weekend

The next round of rain will pick up mid-Wednesday morning for much of Metro Vancouver as the next low pressure system swings in behind Tuesday's rainmaker, reports CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.

Parts of Metro Vancouver have already seen 15 mm to 30 mm since the rain began Monday afternoon. Another 10 mm to 20 mm will fall Tuesday before tapering off for a short break in the evening through Wednesday morning.

By Friday, temperatures will start to climb back to the high teens, and sunshine should make a strong showing this weekend.
