Drier, warmer and sunnier weather should arrive in Vancouver by Friday, as a high pressure system starts to build off B.C.'s South Coast, says CBC meteorologist Johanna Wagstaffe.
But before the fair weather system pushes the cold rain north and out of the way, lingering showers remain in the forecast for Thursday, along with cooler temperatures.
Rainfall totals for Metro Vancouver have been between 20 to 50 millimetres over the past two days.
