The Edmonton Folk Festival 2013 will take place from Aug. 8 to 11.

The annual festival is one of the Edmonton area's signature events, not an easy feat considering the city's reputation for the number and the quality of world class festivals.

Concerts will place throughout the four days in Gallagher Park

Tickets to the festival go on sale by lottery on June 1 at Telus Field, while Ticketmaster and online sales start at 2 p.m.
