As one of the newest members of the Royal Family, Kate Middleton may already be breaking tradition.

"Prince Harry, Kate and William are the Royal Family’s link to the younger generation. A baby shower wouldn't normally happen if you’re in the Royal Family," a friend of the Duchess reportedly told the U.K.'s The Sun tabloid.

According to a professional party planner, the royal affair will include a pacifier-shaped cake made by Kate's brother James (who runs a cake company) and goodie bags with gifts from Jo Malone and The White Company.

Kate's whole family will attend the baby shower, which will probably be held at her parents' home in Berkshire, England. notes Marie Claire.
