Black Bear Opens Car Door In Maple Ridge (VIDEO)

WATCH: He Thinks He's People!

A clever young black bear became a YouTube star this week after it was filmed opening the door to a pickup truck in Maple Ridge.

The video, posted to YouTube on Tuesday, shows a black bear getting out of the front seat of a white pickup in a driveway before standing up on his hind legs, opening the door to the cab by the handle and climbing back in as giggles can be heard behind the camera.

Those giggles belonged to Rebecca Moore and her husband, who filmed the bear at around 5:30 a.m. when they were woken up by a noise outside, CBC News reported.

The bear first climbed inside Moore's car, then found its way into her husband's truck, Global News reported.

“He was inside my car first of all, and he just opened the back sliding door and climbed out,” Moore told the network.

"We just thought it was hilarious.”

The couple then stopped filming and chased the bear away, Moore told CBC.

This isn't the first time that a black bear has strayed too close to a home in British Columbia.

In late May, a bear was spotted sleeping in a tree after gobbling up two chickens in North Vancouver. The owner of the chickens, meanwhile, was issued a $230 ticket for leaving them unsecured.
