Police are investigating what they've called a serious stabbing after a man was found wounded near Kingsway and Glen Drive in East Vancouver.
Police were called to the 1000-block of Kingsway near Glen Drive just before 3 a.m Saturday. They found a man lying in the parking lot of a strip mall who suffered a number of stab wounds, the Vancouver police said in a news release. He was taken to hospital.
The victim's identity has not yet been confirmed and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Vancouver Police Major Crime Robbery/Assault Unit with any information about the stabbing.

The incident comes just weeks after a stabbing in the Downtown Eastside sent a man to hospital in critical condition.
