The Duchess of Cambridge will no doubt have all the baby blankets and pacifiers her baby could ever need, so Kate Middleton’s uncle has a very special gift in mind for when the child arrives.
Gary Goldsmith says he’ll give Will and Kate’s kid a present that will hopefully the royal baby into a “true blue” fan of Chelsea Football Club.
“I’m going to get exactly what I get for all my mates’ babies," he told British paper The Sun. "As a die-hard Chelsea fan, I always get the baby Chelsea shares. Then, when it’s a bit older, I get it a full tiny Chelsea strip," or uniform.
Some have expected to see blue on Will and Kate’s baby off the football pitch as well, as rumours have suggested the Duchess is having a boy.
Rumours aside, the mother-to-be’s baby preparations are sure to ramp up before her due date. She went shopping on Tuesday to decorate her nursery, and selected a couple of handmade English fabrics, according to the Daily Mail.
But Kate, as secretive as ever, didn’t drop any hints about the child’s sex on her outing.
