CBC Quebec wins 3 national awards

CBC in Quebec has won three national awards from Canada's Radio Television Digital News Association.

RTDNA Canada — The Association of Electronic Journalists — has been recognizing the best programs, stations and news gathering in both radio and television across Canada for more than 50 years.

The awards were handed out at the RTDNA Canada's 2013 national conference in Toronto on Saturday.

This year’s Quebec CBC winners include:

  • Gord Sinclair TV - Live Special Events CBC Montreal for Quebec Election 2012 Live Coverage of the Party Quebecois
  • Sports Award Radio CBC Montreal for Turning Olympic Heartbreak into Song by Douglas Gelevan
  • Peter Gzowski Award, Radio News Information Program CBC Quebec City for Post-Election Night Show
