In a note posted on the event's website, officials are only saying the event has been postponed until August 2014, because of time constraints at its new location in the Nicola Valley.
This would have been the third annual biker festival, but it has had trouble finding a permanent home after announcing in April that the jamboree would not proceed at a planned location near the Shuswap village of Chase.
Several thousand motorcycle enthusiasts attended the inaugural event in Salmon Arm in 2011.
The festival moved to the Motoplex Speedway near Vernon in 2012, in order to accommodate the crowds, and the Neskonlith Indian Band announced it would co-host this year when the event was relocated to the Chase area, east of Kamloops.
But about two months ago, Chase Mayor Ron Anderson said RCMP told council the four-day gathering was cancelled, although no reason was offered. (CHNL, The Canadian Press)
