Calling all lovers of fried dough, sugar and jelly. Canada's iconic coffee chain is teaming up with former "Beverly Hills 90210" star Jason Priestley to come up with the next big thing for doughnuts.

For the first time in Tim Hortons history, the franchise will open its doors to Canadians to help them come up with a new doughnut flavour. So all those funky ingredient ideas you wish you had on your doughnut — like bacon, maple syrup and cotton candy — you can now put to use.

Priestley will help choose eight finalists before Canada gets the final say and the winner gets a $10,000 grand prize as well as bragging rights every time they see someone eating the new creation.

Earlier this year, the actor was part of a viral sensation after an episode of "How I Met Your Mother," where he bragged about "The Priestley" (a Timbit crammed into a strawberry vanilla doughnut) and Tims Hortons decided to make the doughnut a reality.

But hey, if fried dough isn't your thing, you may want to check out some of these other Canada-wide flavour contests: Tic Tac is looking for the country's newest mint and if you're not feeling that creative, you can follow Mountain Dew's drink-off or Lay's hunt for Canada's next big chip.

Tim Hortons contest runs until July 21 and voting begins early August.
