Looks like Kate Middleton could be having her baby earlier than we all expected.

The Duchess of Cambridge could be giving birth as early as 10 days before her suspected due date of July 13, according to the Telegraph.

Kate was quoted saying "babies have their own agenda" and earlier this week, a royal insider told U.K.'s Now Magazine, "The palace has already put an emergency plan in place for an early labour — despite Prince William's lovely wife having three weeks to go."

But a mix-up in due dates is something both Buckingham Palace and the press have seen before. In 1982, Princess Diana fooled the media by giving them a fake due date, while giving birth to Prince William 10 days earlier than expected. Some speculate the Duchess has chosen a similar tactic.

Reports say the Duke will be taking two weeks statutory paternity leave before returning to the RAF Search and Rescue squadron in Wales. Other reports suggest if all goes as planned on the 13th, there's even a chance the Prince may miss out on the birth of his first child because of his work schedule.
