Who knew you could count on your local Starbucks for more than your daily brew and the occasional blueberry scone?

When soon-to-be parents Jennifer James, 25, and Mark Dixon, 24, of West Haven, Connecticut couldn't decide between the names Jackson and Logan for their son, they decided to poll the java-sipping customers at their go-to Starbucks location.

The couple were familiar with the store's existing voting system, which encouraged customers to vote for the employee of the month.

"We saw that and thought we might as well see how it works," Dixon told the New Haven Register.

A total of 1,800 votes were cast for the naming of baby Dixon, with some voters straying from the two suggested names.

"We've gotten Obama, Jebediah, Lincoln. Someone put (a) write-in, Webster," James said.

Once she realized that Jackson sounded too much like Dixon (the baby's last name), James leaned more toward the name Logan -- a choice the customers also favored.

The couple, who are due in September, have decided to name their baby Logan Jackson Dixon.

We think they should've thrown Buck in there somewhere as a tribute to the Starbucks customers who had a say in his name!
