OPP say wrong-way truck had 3 children on board

A man was caught driving the wrong way on a highway west of Toronto while his three children were with him, police say.

The Ontario Provincial Police say they received calls about a Ford F150 pickup truck going the wrong way along the westbound lanes of Highway 407 in Milton, Ont., on Saturday night.

An OPP police officer safely pulled the vehicle over.

The 38-year-old driver from Stayner, Ont., was arrested at the scene. He now faces two impaired driving-related charges and a charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Police say that the man's children were picked up by their mother from an OPP detachment. They were unharmed.
