The RCMP have laid terrorism charges in B.C. following an investigation named Project Souvenir.

John Stewart Nuttall and Amanda Marie Korody have been charged in relation to a plot to attack Canada Day celebrations at the B.C. legislature in Victoria.

Reaction on Twitter was swift.

Anthony Ho was quick to congratulate the RCMP on their work.

Following news that the devices found were similar to those used in the Boston bombings, the National Post's Jesse Kline poured scorn on the alleged attackers' lack of imagination.
