The pilot, who has been identified as a 69-year-old man from Surrey, British Columbia, was the only person aboard the helicopter when it went down July 1 in a remote area west of Gillam.
Members of the RCMP underwater recovery team found the body Sunday after searching for several days.
Access to the site was difficult and the main part of the craft was submerged in a lake.
The helicopter, a Bell 206 from St. Andrews-based Custom Helicopters, left Gillam at about 4:30 p.m. July 1 to pick up some boaters at a location about 50 kilomeres away, but it didn't make it there.
Police continue to investigate what caused the crash.
No further information is available at this time and the man's name is not being released to the public.
